Dose area product meter (DAP-meter) DRK

The range of dosimeters of the DRC family includes several models depending on the tasks performed and the X-ray equipment that they serve.

Execution options

DRK-1:

The basic model that served as the basis for the development and construction of the DRK-1M family of clinical dosimeters.

DRK-1M:

It is used to work with all main types of X-ray equipment: stationary and ward-type X-ray machines, C-arm type devices, fluorographs, angiographs, mammographs. The modular construction principle allows you to select a configuration for the Customer’s tasks: select the required type of ionization chamber and a suitable measuring console, supplement the device with related equipment (a printer or an additional operator console), and even configure a system that includes and services several ionization chambers and an operator’s workstation at computer base and related software.

Purpose:

• determining the effective dose received by the patient during x-ray procedures;
• monitoring the stability of X-ray machines during their operation;
• determination of the radiation output of the X-ray machine in accordance with methodological recommendations.

DRK-1M-CT:

Purpose:

• calculation of the tomographic dose index CTDI to calculate the effective dose
• calculation of the dose indicator of a computed tomograph.

DRK-1E:

Used for checking X-ray dosimeters with walk-through ionization chambers without removing them from X-ray equipment.
