
SPC Doza will supply the High Range Gamma Area Monitors BDMG-A02D for accident and post- accident conditions to a low-level automated radiation monitoring system of Kursk NPP-2,.
BDMG-A02D consists of the ionization chamber module MIC-02D with communication lines, the data processing and transmission unit BOPD-A02D, the leak-tight electrical penetration through the containment structure. The ionization chamber module uses unique materials and processes developed by SCP Doza’s specialists, due to them the minimum dependence of sensitivity on gamma radiation energy throughout the energy range is ensured.
BDMG-A02D is designed to monitor the absorbed dose rate in the leak-tight containment under normal operating conditions and under design extension conditions (DEC), as well as to transfer information to the control room of I&C system. It is used as part of special technical means to control DEC accidents at facilities of nuclear energy use (OIAE).
The High Range Gamma Area Monitors BDMG-A02D have been supplied as part of DEC technical means of the Instrumentation and Control system (I&C) to Rostov and Novovoronezh NPP.
