The Council of Deputies of Staroye Kryukovo municipal district approved the draft urban development plan for the land plot to extend the area of production facilities of SPC Doza. The request was submitted to the Moscow City Architecture Committee by this Zelenograd company and was approved by all authorities.

The issue was considered at the Council of Deputies meeting on September, 20. According to the Head of urban management department of Zelenograd district Angela Ignatieva, SPC Doza applied to the Moscow City Architecture Committee to prepare the urban site plan for a site at Southern industrial area in Zelenograd. The company’s proposal was to increase the technical and economic indicators of the existing plan, namely, to extend the building area from 700 sq.m to 1350 sq.m by adding the third and the underground floor levels.

The proposal was approved by the Urban Planning and Land Commission of Moscow and by the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship. Public hearings for sites located at Southern industrial area in Zelenograd are not required. However, it is necessary to coordinate the decision with members of the municipal district, – Angela Ignatieva clarified.

Alexey Nurlybaev, general director of SPC Doza, informed the meeting participants that the company needs to extend the area of the building to increase production capacity and meet the requirements of Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation, which is one of the companys customers. In particular, the third floor will be used to accommodate testing equipment, while in the underground floor locker rooms for employees and other necessary facilities will be located.

SPC Doza was founded in 1991 by researchers of the VNIIFTRI institute in Mendeleevo near Zelenograd. Our company is engaged in development and manufacture of radiation detection equipment. Since the foundation we pursue an import substitution policy. In fact, we are the largest private factory for the production of radiation detection equipment not only in Russia and the CIS, but also in Europe. Today SPC Doza employs more than 200 people. Administrative and office space is located in the “Angstrem” main building (Georgievskiy prospect, 6), the manufacturing facility is at the back of the Southern industrial area (proezd 4922, building 4). This is the production facility we plan to extend, Alexey Nurlybaev told.

Customers of SPC Doza include Ministry of Defence, Emercom (Ministry of Emergency Situations), Rosatom, Russian and foreign nuclear power plants (Iran, India), Ministry of Health and other agencies and organizations.

Deputies of Staroye Kryukovo municipal district unanimously agreed on the urban development plan for the land plot allocated for SPC Doza. In May of this year, SPC Doza became an investor to the land plot at the Northern industrial area. The manufacturer of radiation monitoring systems will now be able to build a 4-storey production facility within the area of 0.93 ha. The land has been leased to the company for 10 years.
